Following the success of their sellout tour across the Federation, Junon rockers The Aquajets have knocked Maria Russo off the number one chart spot following her sixteen-week reign with her multi-platinum ballad “Green Eyes (Are Watching Me)”. The Aquajets, whose new album “Photocopies” hits stores next week, have claimed this week’s chart with their new single “Living Between Worlds”, leaping a massive thirty-three places up the charts.
Speaking to ZolomMidwave 99.7, Dax Gerrett, said that the number one position was “an honour”, joking that “[he] expected something better to do it”.The band then performed two tracks from their new album live on the station’s Nightmix programme, which was listened to by an audience of over six million, a new record for the timeslot.
The Aquajets will begin their tour of Wutai in two months time.
