Republic Prime Minister Steps Down

Following the recent explosion in Gongaga, which was revealed to have been the work of terrorists, the Republic’s Prime Minister, Alexander Hauser, 52, has stepped down from his position, citing that he has made “unforgivable mistakes”.

With the Republic still maintaining a Defence Level Epsilon security level, the news has been described as “a risky attempt at saving face” by other politicians.

Hauser’s position will be filled by the Deputy Prime Minister, Iago Mercer, 47, who will be making a statement tomorrow from Greybrick House.
